About the stylist
I’m Mara Vos, a freelance hair professional based in Amsterdam-West. I spent eighteen years in busy city salons and backstage at fashion weeks before going independent, and I’ve kept the parts I loved: the craft, the conversation, and the moment someone sees themselves in the mirror.
My approach is simple. We start with a proper consultation — your hair’s texture, how much time you actually have in the morning, and what “good hair day” means to you. Then I cut and colour to suit that, not to suit a trend. Every appointment is one-to-one, never double-booked.
I work from a private studio near Westerpark, and I travel to homes and offices across Amsterdam for occasion styling.

Flat rates, no hidden extras. All prices include consultation, wash, and a finish you can recreate at home. Longer or denser hair may add €15–25 — we’ll confirm before we start.
